It was a foggy day today. The mountain view is what I get to see on my way home. The clouds are hanging low over Hood Canal (toward the bottom of the pic), part of Puget Sound. I would not want to be a boater in that heavy goo. I could hear the fog horns. Nuclear subs go through those waters, too.

I like the first photo. I have many fog photos I take while going birding early in the mornings. The Sacramento Valley has been in a lot of fog for days they just can't shake and will take a storm that is lined up outside of Oregon/California that they're hoping will get rid of the fog. Up here in the foothills though is "above the fog and below the snow," just where I like it.
